About the Program:

S M Sehgal Foundation is a public charitable trust founded in Gurgaon, India, in 1999 with a vision for every person across rural India to be empowered with a more secure, prosperous, and dignified life. In partnership with rural communities, the foundation serves as a catalyst in bringing about positive change in hundreds of villages with programs that empower the vulnerable, especially women, in the areas of greatest need to achieve water security, food security, and social justice. Water management, agricultural development, and good rural governance programs and projects are supported by individual donors, corporate sponsors, government grants, academic partnerships, and foundation funding.
